Michelle and Collin were married in Palm Beach. Here Michelle shares their intimate Tuscan inspired wedding, their Rescue Flats wedding details, and her best wedding planning advice.
Tell us about the theme of your wedding, or the general wedding vibe!
We loved the idea of bringing all of the elements we love about the Tuscan countryside into our wedding. Combined with a little romance, and some serious style we loved the result. It was so beautiful, and have that “wow” factor, but still felt intimate and welcoming.
What was your favourite thing about the wedding?
I think having so many people we care so deeply about in one place for the weekend was probably one of the more special parts.
What is your number one best piece of advice for planning a wedding?
Hire a wedding planner!!!! Seriously. I AM a wedding planner and I chose to work with one because it is impossible to navigate the planning journey on your own, not miss one detail and enjoy the process. Your wedding should not feel like work!
Why did you choose Rescue Flats for your wedding?
It is such a smart idea to offer alternatives to high heels, but with the wedding being black tie it had to be an appropriate alternative. Rescue Flats was exactly that!! And so comfortable.
Did you have other wedding favours?
We did. We had welcome bags upon arrival. We also created these really cute boxes, and boxed our wedding cake as a favor so guests could enjoy a sweet treat later on.
