Last night was truly a dream. After almost 8 years, I am back in Florence with my family, celebrating my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Throughout my life, Tuscany, but Florence especially has had special meaning for me. From summers spent as a child, to making my holy communion here, to finally living here during university, this magical city always has a way of allowing me to find myself. This time, at almost 40, Florence has once again given me something unforgettable. To have created a gorgeous table, inspired by bold, warm fall tones rich with texture and rustic, tuscan style is a dream. To be able to work with a Michelin star chef to create a one of a kind menu that tantalized the senses was otherworldly. To work with a husband and wife photography team who have such knowledge and talent was a delight. Everyone at @lungarnocollection provided the utmost in service, hospitality and care.
