I know I know, this morning’s crisp weather speaks of fall’s impending arrival, and all of the cozy sweater and fireplace vibes that go with it (I am actually making my mom’s soup for dinner tonight as I type this!). I am just not ready to let go of all the gorgeous greenery outside though. So I am going to hang here in the lavender for a moment longer. It is such a happy place for me. I love everything about lavender. 💜
Did you know that lavender flowers represent purity, silence, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness? Purple is the color of royalty and speaks of elegance, refinement, and luxury, too.
The color is also associated with the crown chakra, which is the energy center associated with higher purpose and spiritual connectivity.
Romans are credited with naming the flower which is actually native to the Mediterranean, and the one and only Cleopatra wore it as her secret weapon to attract both Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony! ✨
It is also a natural bug repellent as well as being able to repel evil. 🧿🧿🔮🔮
These are only a few of the many reasons I love it. So much so in fact that when Collin & I walked out of church at our wedding, guests threw lavender creating a magical moment.
