My recent travels last December took me to Viareggio, Tuscany

Visiting Viareggio last December was nothing short of magical. Viareggio is a city on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. With a population of over 62,000, it is the second-largest city within the province of Lucca, after Lucca itself. This beautiful city is where my maternal grandparents are from, and where I spent most of my time as a child in Italy. The beach days here were awesome.

In the summer it is such a great place to be, with all the beach clubs and amazing people. I spent so many summer days here throughout my life. My grandfather used to bring me here and I have so many good memories from Viareggio and Lucca itself. It was a first though, to enjoy a gorgeous December day on the passeggiata. I found it equally as magical at Christmas. ✨✨
