Thank you Modern Luxury Chicago Social, Spring Brook Marina and The Macallan for a very special evening on Chicago’s beautiful river. Entertaining Company did a fabulous job with the bites, the company was lovely, and the Macallan was truly special (it is bottled in Lalique crystal and retails for $7,000 – who knew?! 😳)
This was also the first time I have been back on a boat since we sold our Andiamo. It was a full circle moment as Collin, my parents and I got some big news earlier in the day thanks to that amazing boat. (And more on that soon!)
It was nice to give her a little salute out there on the water and thank her one more time. I don’t think I will ever stop missing that boat and those 41 years of memories are just more precious than ever. 🤍
And these views were just spectacular.
