If you’ve followed along for any length of time, you will surely recognize the name. This local organization is near and dear to me and is one that Gene & Georgetti is honored to support throughout the year, but especially every November for National Adoption Awareness Month. They have a wishlist on Amazon year-round, but currently are seeking donations to make Christmas special for the kids in their care. I hope you’ll check it out and consider donating what you can.
Hephzibah Children’s Wish List
The Gene & Georgetti team had a wonderful time visiting them last week, and got to spend time making ornaments with the kids. We toured the home which has undergone some majorly awesome improvements the last couple of years and we are just so proud to support this organization and its efforts to give children a safe, welcoming, restorative place.
Did you know Hephzibah has been in Illinois since 1897, making it one of the oldest charities in the state? It is also the only place of its kind in the state of Illinois taking in children between the ages of 4 and 11.
