As we step into the heart of fall, my favorite time of year, Halloween brings with it both a sense of fun and nostalgia. This season, however, carries a deep significance for me and my family as we navigate the loss of my dad. I’ve been so profoundly touched by the outpouring of love and support we’ve received—words can’t express how grateful we are. October is also Italian American Heritage Month, and this year’s Columbus Day Parade, which was dedicated to my dad here in Chicago, made the celebration all the more meaningful.
Reflecting on September, it was a whirlwind of unforgettable weddings in Sicily, Wisconsin, and of course, sweet home Chicago. I’m gearing up for one last wedding in November before heading back to Italy with a 2025 couple to finalize the details of their special day.
With the holidays fast approaching, our team is ready to help bring your holiday celebrations to life. (Because let’s be honest—who doesn’t love a fabulous holiday party?) And while we may be closing out 2024, we’re already looking ahead to 2025! So if you’re planning something magical, let’s just say now is the perfect time to start dreaming.
As we move forward, I’m reminded of how love and our loved ones always stay with us, no matter where life takes us. In the words of Maya Angelou, “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.”

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Wedding Wednesday ‘It’s Just Lunch’ at Gene & Georgetti, and what an incredible day it was! I loved creating the table décor ourselves to add that personal touch and infuse the event with warmth and style. No dress code, no formal program—just great food, wonderful company, and meaningful connections that remind us why we love what we do.
