There are moments in life when we pause and recognize just how important certain conversations really are. This is one of those moments.

This week, I’m honored to share something truly special with you—a brand-new episode on my YouTube channel that feels like the most personal one yet. I sat down at Andiamo Farm with my dear friend, powerhouse therapist, and fellow equestrian, Becky Price, to talk about something that touches all of us at some point in our lives: grief, growth, and mental health.

Whether you’re navigating the high-stakes pressure of wedding planning, the quiet intensity of equestrian life, the non-stop hustle of running a restaurant, or simply trying to show up as your best self every day—this conversation is for you.

Real Talk from the Heart of the Arena

Becky is the founder of Grief Into Gold, a new therapeutic practice centered on holding space for transformation—through grief, trauma, or burnout. And let me tell you, her insight is profound. Her approach is grounded in honesty, empathy, and the belief that healing doesn’t mean forgetting—it means moving forward with purpose.

We met through our shared love of horses and have since become close friends. In fact, she’s been an essential part of my own grief journey—as a friend, a support system, and a mental health professional who truly gets it. Her work has helped me navigate the loss of my father, the emotional demands of running multiple businesses, and the challenge of staying emotionally present in a world that often expects us to be “on” at all times.

Why Conversations about Mental Health Matter

Mental health conversations are finally becoming more visible—but in spaces like the wedding industry, hospitality, and competitive equestrianism, they’re still not happening enough.

In this episode, Becky and I talk about:

  • How grief shows up in our personal and professional lives
  • The pressure to keep going when you’re expected to lead
  • Creating safe spaces—for clients, for teams, and for ourselves
  • Why therapy is essential (and not a luxury)
  • How horses teach us about presence, resilience, and healing

I wish more people were having these kinds of conversations, especially in spaces where perfection is expected and emotions are often pushed to the side. If you’re a bride or groom, a wedding vendor, a fellow horse girl, or someone navigating life after loss, I hope this episode feels like a warm hand on your shoulder reminding you: you’re not alone.

Let’s Keep Talking

This conversation with Becky is just the beginning. I’ll be sharing more insights and stories in future episodes—conversations at the intersection of purpose, presence, and progress.

Because whether I’m producing a wedding, running Gene & Georgetti, or spending time at the barn, I believe the most powerful thing we can do is show up authentically and take care of our minds and hearts.

Thank you, Becky, for your wisdom and your work.

And thank you to every one of you reading this—for being part of this community.

With love,

Michelle
