Each year when Fall arrives I get so excited because I know fall photos with my horses and one of my dear friends, Wendie Aull can happen! I love taking photos with the horses in the fall because of the colors and also because it gives me more options for attire – I am not really a fan of summer as much as I am of fall so for me it is a no brainer.

The colors this year at the farm were outstanding, as you are about to find out! Working with Wendie is one of the most fun, stress free experiences. With Collin being a photographer, it can occasionally be challenging for us to find a photographer that BOTH of us really enjoy working with (albeit for different reasons) because he loves the technical knowledge and skill and I am looking for someone who can make me feel comfortable in front of the camera. Wendie does all of this, AND she knows how to get my horses, my husband and me to smile at the same time! This is an immense talent. Wendie is not only specialized in equine photography. She does lifestyle photography, portraits, family sessions and weddings too. Cannot say enough good things about her! Learn more about her, here.

This year, both Collin and I have been moving in so many different directions at one time that I was not even sure we could find three hours to spend together to take photos. I went up to the barn a couple hours ahead of him so I could ride. I brought a bag with me of a few outfit options and a make up bag. Luckily I have been obsessing over Lele Sadoughi headbands for a while now (my COVI-19 hair sanity comes from being able to have this oh so stylish and comfy headbands within reach at all times!). I grabbed a wrap that I love from the market in Florence, a pair of Spanx leggings, my favorite denim shirt (I could not even tell you where I bought it, but here is a similar one. And then of course, my favorite Gucci boots that I wear pretty much every day, even during Corona Virus! Shop a few of their boot options here.
